Melanin Globe did cover a second round of transportation and offered reimbursement for the inconvenience caused by the vendor, even though the issue stemmed from a third-party provider. The process for reimbursement wasn’t clearly communicated in a WhatsApp group, as we submit formal communications via email, our admin in WhatsApp does not issue that. Tipping Expectations: You're absolutely right that tipping is a customary and important part of travel in many countries, particularly in destinations like Egypt where guides, drivers, and crew rely heavily on tips. While we do mention tipping expectations in the pre-trip documents, we understand it could have been emphasized more. Your guide may have enforced it, but no matter where we go, this is not mandatory, and we will connect with tour operations in Egypt to share this feedback. 2. Leisure Day and Hotel Check-In: We hear your concern about the long wait during the final leisure day in Cairo. Unfortunately, hotel check-in times are often outside of our control, especially when flights return early. That said, we agree that having an engaging option—like an added tour or even a late-night transfer back to Cairo the night before—could make this time more enjoyable, and we’ll explore those adjustments for similar itineraries going forward. 3. WiFi Limitations: We understand how essential connectivity is, especially in today’s world. WiFi availability—particularly on Nile River cruises and in some Egyptian hotels—can indeed be very limited and inconsistent. While this is common in many international travel experiences, we agree it should be more clearly stated in our pre-departure materials so that guests can better plan and manage expectations. 4. Flight Times and Connections: Flight availability—both domestic and international—is a puzzle that’s constantly changing and heavily dictated by airline schedules, and limited options for certain destinations. While we always aim to select flights that balance comfort, timing, and cost for the group as a whole, we understand how this impacted travelers with more complex itineraries. We’ll continue working with our partners to improve routing where possible and provide stronger guidance for those booking connecting flights. Again, thank you for sharing your thoughts with us.
